Purchasing Football Tickets


Your Cadet will be allocated four tickets and they may purchased  at the "A" Club desk in Eisenhower Hall on R-Day. Otherwise, to purchase tickets on your own, you must join The "A" Club. Only parents of Cadets can join, so you will have to wait until R-day to do so.  Each member of the A-Club can purchase 4 priority seating and 4 additional seats.

Army fans will have an opportunity to send the Black Knights off to battle in style before home contests this season with the introduction of the "Black Knight Walk."

In an effort to build excitement and provide a "fan-friendly" environment for fans to interact briefly with players on game days, the Army Athletic Association will develop "Black Knight Alley," which will run along Mills Road in front of Michie Stadium, stretching from Gate 1 to Gate 3 of the facility.

Buses carrying members of the Army football team will arrive at the intersection of Mills Road and Stony Lonesome Road at 11 a.m. on Saturday mornings of home games. The team will then walk "Black Knight Alley" parallel to Lusk Reservoir en route to the squad’s locker room.

Fans are encouraged to form up "cordon" style to greet the players as they prepare for competition.

Game day sponsor displays, mobile concessions, games and various forms of entertainment will be stationed along "Black Knight Alley," which will be closed to traffic with the exception of emergency vehicles. Additionally, the hour-long "Army Football Tailgate Show," a pregame Internet radio show hosted by Army Director of Broadcasting Rich DeMarco, will originate from the site, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

The "Black Knight Walk" will begin after the completion of the cadet review on The Plain and debut Saturday when Army opens its 115th season of intercollegiate competition, hosting Louisville.

The game will be televised regionally by Regional News Network at 1 p.m.

 
Football Game Day Parking
Aug. 10, 2004

General ticket holders are asked to enter West Point through Washington Gate (Blue Gate) located off 9W at the Routes 293/218 interchange. Washington Game entrance is located on Route 218 north of the USMA golf course and ski slope area.

Once entering the gate, Military Police (MPs) and parking attendants will guide fans to designated parking areas. Shuttle bus transportation will be provided from all parking areas to the parade ground and Michie Stadium.

All lots will open at 7 a.m. We recommend arriving early to avoid delays, due to increased security. Tailgating is permitted but must not interfere with adjacent parking and thoroughfares.

"H-lot" will serve as the area for handicapped parking. Wheelchair accessible buses will be available to provide transportation to and from Central Post Area and Michie Stadium.

General Information for Fans Attending An Army Football Game

Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited from Michie Stadium: bags (except diaper bags), backpacks, umbrellas, artificial noisemakers, laser pointers and containers of any kind. The possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is also prohibited inside Michie Stadium.

Phones
Public pay telephones are located at Gates 2 and 3 of Michie Stadium.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted in Hoffman Press Box, Kimsey Athletic Center or the seating areas of Michie Stadium.

Rest Rooms
Public restrooms and handicapped-access restrooms are located throughout Michie Stadium.

First Aid Information
The First Aid Station is located underneath Section 25. In case of emergency, please notify the nearest usher or the Military Police.

Tailgating
Tailgating is permitted in all West Point parking lots but must not interfere with adjacent parking spaces or thoroughfares. The Army Athletic Association's External Operations Office will reserve tailgate sites for groups that purchase 50 or more tickets. Sites, available for a fee of $150, will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call (877) TIX-ARMY.

Cadet Parade
The cadet parade takes place on "The Plain," weather permitting, three hours prior to kickoff.

Concessions
Concession stands are located throughout Michie Stadium. Special delivery requests, box lunches for groups and tailgate catering can be accommodated by phoning (845) 938-7732.

Lost and Found
Lost items can be claimed during the game at the Michie Stadium Ticket Office, located at Gate 3. Following the game, all inquiries regarding lost items should be made to the Provost Marshall's Office, Bldg. 616, or by phoning (845) 938-5207 or (845) 938-3333.

Public Address
Messages for the public address announcer are accepted only for medical emergencies and must be approved by the director of media relations.

Tickets
Tickets ordered the week of the game will be held at the "Reservation" window at Gate 3. Please bring proper identification. Tickets will be sold on game day at Gates 1, 2 and 3. Children ages 1 year and under are not required to have a ticket. Gates will open two hours prior to kickoff. Tickets may be purchased by calling 1-877-TIX-ARMY.

Handicapped Services
Handicapped parking accommodations are located in H Lot. A handicapped license plate, state registration or handicapped parking pass is required to gain entrance to the area.

Shuttle buses depart regularly from H Lot to Michie Stadium. A wheelchair-accessible bus will transport fans to Gate 6. Fans, without wheelchairs, in need of assistance will be dropped off at Gate 1. All fans should meet their postgame shuttle bus at their respective drop-off points. Wheelchair seating is located at the top of Sections 8 through 11 and 14 through 17.

Shuttle Bus Service
Free shuttle bus service is provided from the West Point parking lots to the parade ground and Michie Stadium. Each lot is color-coded corresponding to each color-coded bus route. Postgame shuttle bus departure points are:
